Senaka Fernando commented on AXIS2C-1079:
-----------------------------------------

Hi Damitha,

There is another issue reported regarding abnormal behaviour of dual clients,
in AXIS2C-1005. Is this something specific to mod_axis2 or does it apply to
Simple Axis2 HTTP Server as well?

However, there are instances where some issues fixed in the Simple Axis2 HTTP
Server were not fixed for mod_axis2, thus, it might be the most likely cause.

Axis2/C in the recent past saw some updates, and fixes in many cases, affecting
multiple areas in code. We also did some work in fixing situations where we
have actually being doing things wrong in the past. Thus, sometimes due to a
correlation between Axis2/C's erraneous behaviour in the past and Sandesh2/C's
implementation, things might have been working (a situation where one bug
corrected another), thus, it sometimes might be that Sandesha2/C needs to get
rid of some invalid assumptions made in the past. Therefore, it is always
better to check into that fact too.

Will look into this as time permits.

Regards,
Senaka

> It seems due to a change in apache2 or in the transport I found that
> sandesha2 dual channel samples are not working when the server is deployed
> with the apache2. About two weeks back when I last tested this it was working
> fine and after that there was no change to sandesha2/C code. So I suspect the
> culprit is some code change in axis2/C. I could not figure out the problem as
> there was no error debug message printed to the log.
