http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=18561 SSL Tunneling via MS-Proxy 2.0 does not work; bad response from proxy ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-04-02 19:21 ------- Today I had a look at commons-httpclient and it worked for me. Since I was only looking for a HTTP transport layer for SOAPMessage objects, for me this issue is closed. Oh, if you look at the org.apache.commons.httpclient.StatusLine code, you'll see the implementation allows for multiple SP characters. The javadoc quotes the same paragraph you mentioned :) As for MS, I won't even bother. Like I said it is ancient software, they're not even releasing services patches for anymore.
