http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=19544 WSDL2Java generates uncompilable code for simpleTypes redefining a complexType ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-06-13 07:52 ------- It seems that this bug is invalid, but I'd like to have your opinion on that point. I've read the SOAP specification about Simple Types (http://www.w3.org/TR/SOAP/#_Toc478383514) and from what I understand it is forbidden to use a user-defined type for the restriction type : "For simple types, SOAP adopts all the types found in the section "Built-in datatypes" of the "XML Schema Part 2: Datatypes" Specification [11], both the value and lexical spaces."
