i just realized that the patch hasn't been applied to the latest nightly binary
build. i pulled down the latest source snapshot
(ws-axis_20050210120826.tar.gz) and successfully built it. i then overwrote
the 3 files with those from the patch and built it again but with errors.
here's an excerpt:
