[ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AXIS-1498?page=comments#action_59774 ] Aleksander Slominski commented on AXIS-1498: --------------------------------------------
GiaD could you explain what you mean by "streamable infoset abstraction that is independant from strongly typed object binding framework" in XML Beans? I looked long and hard into this in context of XML beans and as far as i can tell XML Beans has in its core one particular implementation of XML store that is not streamable and it is not possible to swap it. I was in particular interested in handling very large XML instances )with BASE64 or any XML) that are backed by file system or database but that was deemed impossible and out of context for XML beans ... if things changes could you point to documents, mailing list discussion or source code to show it? thanks, alek > AXIS2: pluggable XML transformations (JavaBeans2XML, XSD with JaxMe/JAXB, > Castor, XmlBeans, RelaxNG, ...) > --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: AXIS-1498 > URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AXIS-1498 > Project: Axis > Type: Wish > Components: Basic Architecture > Environment: ALL > Reporter: Aleksander Slominski > > allow to plug different XML<->Java object model transformations (and maybe > also allow them to be pipelined!) > that would make XML processing much more flexible and would allow users to > choose how their XML messages should be processed -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/Administrators.jspa - If you want more information on JIRA, or have a bug to report see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
