I'm just curious, are there any plans on using StAX API in AXIS?
I've recently made some tests with StAX (BEA implementation), and I am quite excited about it - about 3 times faster, and the memory trace 3 times less... and I was not using the cursor-based API, which is supposed to be even better!
I'm asking this because I've noticed that SUN already use StAX in their WS implementation (WSDP1.5), and they consider using StAX a big improvement (half of "what's new" is about StAX).
