This bug, or duplicates of it, has existed in the axis code base since at least 2003, so I was wondering what is the chance that one of these patches will be integrated into the next (RC4?) release of Axis 1.2?

Hi. I'm currently in the position where I have applied a variant of a
patch (CommonsHTTPSender.java.patch) from
http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AXIS-895 to the latest (v1.30)
version and it seems to work. My application will not work at all
without this fix.
