The Axiom code has been modified to output empty string for the empty namespace uri. or 2. Change the wstx jar to 2.8.x version. ad 2. We've checked our WSTX-ASL, it's version 2.8.2 -- does it have to be later than that? ad 1. We are using the AXIS2 1.0 release, and assume that it uses AXIOM 1.0.
