Missing axis-ant-1.4.pom for Maven

Maven is unable to download:
http://repo1.maven.org/maven2/axis/axis-ant/1.4/axis-ant-1.4.pom
Version 1.3 is OK, but not 1.4... See [http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MEV-418].
(I'm actually a little unclear as to where the responsibility lies. I
initially thought that it was a Maven issue, but they seem to suggest that each
project is responsible for maintaining the pom. From my perspective, I am
unable to declare Axis 1.4 as a dependancy for my projects.)
