Problem when performing AXIOM to SAAJ conversion

I am trying to use SAAJConverterImpl.toSAAJ(OMElement, SOAPElement) to perform
AXIOM to SAAJ conversion, however, I get the following exception:

I think this exception is being thrown because the method expects an OMElement
that is associated with a builder, and therefore an XMLStreamReader. However, I
am creating my OMElement by calling
org.apache.axis2.addressing.EndpointReference.toOM(). This means that my
OMElement has no builder. It seems to me that toSAAJ() should also support
OMElements without a builder.
