Evanthika Amarasiri commented on AXIS2-1153:
--------------------------------------------

The reason for the passwords to display the next time you visit the page is
because I have set the option to remember the user name and the password.
Therefore, this is not a bug. The issue can be closed.

Chamil, Please close the Issue
Thanks,
Evanthika

> I logged on to the admin site using the given user name: admin and password :
> axis2
> Then I logout of the site and closed the browser
> Opened a new browser window and visited the login page and it still displays
> the user name and the password.
> All I had to do was to click on the button "Login" and I was able to get
> through. Is this correct? When you log out from the site, shouldn't it clear
> the user name and password fields. At Least shouldn't it clear the password
> field ?
> Even if I clear the cache and open a new browser, it still displays the user
> name and the password which I used to log in to the site previously
