Variable #today# within the resource.properties file

I learned the variable is not expanded in the Axis2 resource properties file module/kernel/src/org/apache/axis2/i18n/resource.properties. It is still showing #today#.

Could you please tell me how to expand this variable?

and What should be the expected value for this #today# variable? or how should the expanded value look like?
