Gul Onural commented on AXIS2-1926:

An additional info around the same issue :

I have also noticed that Axis2 validate page
(https://localhost:8443/axis2/axis2-web/HappyAxis.jsp) gives you an error about
the version service when it is accessed through https :

Examining Version Service

There was a problem in Axis2 version service , may be the service not available
or some thing has gone wrong. But this does not mean system is not working !
Try to upload some other service and check to see whether it is working.

> I am trying to get the https access running for axis2 in tomcat, using
> Axis1.1 nightly build of Jan. 2, 2007.
> I have uncommented "SSL HTTP/1/1 Connector entry" in
> $CATALINA_HOME/conf/server.xml.
> Also created a certificate keystore using keytool.
> https://localhost:8443/ correctly displays Tomcat homepage. Also
> https://localhost:8443/axis2/
> correctly displays axis2 homepage.
> However, when I click Available Services/Version I get 500 error, as shown
> below.
> I have attached tomcat's log file.
> Any ideas why I get this error ?
