Deepal Jayasinghe commented on AXIS2-1981:
------------------------------------------

As remember correct we discussed this in the mailing list and finally we all
decided to show the wsdl only in following cases
  - When all the operations in a service use RPC MR
  - User puts his wsdl into service aar file

I agree that its nice to generate wsdl in all the cases (irrespective of the
MR) , but what is the point of generating a wsdl if the message receiver can
not handle the request. (actually you were the one who against the idea of
generating wsld for all the services before  :)  );

> wsdl generation should work for all message receivers

> Currently ?wsdl only works for a specific set of message receivers. IMO it
> should work for all message receivers- and if no info is available about the
> schemas of the messages then generate just xs:any for those messages. That
> way you always get a WSDL for any service by doing ?wsdl. Of course the
> usefulness of the WSDL will vary depending on how much info is available at
> the time.
