I wanted to let y'all know that Apache Geronimo is working towards
our 2.0 release and the projects goals for 2.0 are to ship two
assemblies that have passed the Java EE 5.0 TCK suite. So far we
have passed cert with CXF and would very much like to include Axis 2
as a certified element as well. The configurations we're likely to
ship are:
Tomcat - Axis 2 - OpenJPA
Jetty - CXF - OpenJPA
To plan better I'd like to know what the Axis 2 release plans are. I
understand that you are in the process of releasing 1.3 but that
we're not quite there yet on JAX-WS in terms of being certifiable.
Since we'd like to get a 2.0 out around the end of July I'm just
trying to figure out if we'll be able to pick up your official
release or if we'll need to create our own jars of Axis 2. Input
