There are several reasons why it is a very good idea to have the Axis2 auto-generated WSDLs be WS-I compliant.
Though the services will work with most clients without issue (as is the case now), WSDL verification tools will clearly declare the WSDL as invalid, and the WS-I test suite will fail the WSDL. Also, some strict integration tool sets may fail. As a good baseline, the SOAP 1.1 auto-generated bindings should at least be WS-I BP 1.1 compliant.
