Hi Virgil, WSAS is an enterprise ready Web services engine powered by Apache Axis2. You could deploy Axis2 Web services on WSAS and also there are many more value additions. The JIRA you cited is related to this product. In fact, the WSAS 2.1 release was based on Axis2 1.3, and the next 2.2 release contains many bug fixes to Axis2 including the issue you cited.
