Under Axis 1.4 my custom soap faults in the wsdl inherited from AxisFault so I
could define the detail element of the fault and still retrieve the faultcode,
faultstring, etc.. with Axis2, my custom fault only inherits from Exception
and even though the fault 'on the wire' has faultcode, faultstring, etc. my
client code can't access those elements from the thrown custom class. it only
allows retrieving the detail element information. my clients rely heavily on
faultcode and going to Axis2 seems to prevent them from getting it with my
current wsdls.
simple/quick question(s), is this intentional and deliberate knowing it creates
backward compatibility issues? any explanation of intent or pilot error will
help.
