Igor, Thanks for sorting out Chen's problem.
I'm still a bit puzzled about the makeNewInstance methods in WSDDDeployableItem and WSDDTargetedChain. It does look as though there is some missing code in WSDDTargetedChain. Can anyone explain the difference? Glyn
