Rich, I just tested the stuff, and it seems to work for me. The shared
typemappings still have one problem, though.
The problem I'm still seeing is that I can't add serializers for types
restricted from basic types in the shared config scope. When I add them
programmatically in a handler it all works though.
The particular type we are seeing problems with is a simple type restricted
from a string.
E.g this does not seem to work:
<typeMapping qname="ogsa-types:PrimaryKeyType"
languageSpecificType="java:java.lang.String"
serializer="org.apache.axis.encoding.ser.SimplePrimitiveSerializerFactory"
deserializer="org.apache.axis.encoding.ser.SimpleDeserializerFactory"/>
BTW great that the XML Schema attributes are supported now for Beans, it
will solve a lot of our problems.
