Apologies - I certainly didn't mean to remove that
method, this was a merge problem on my part (I'd done work in there over the
course of the week and clearly missed that when I resolved the
merge).

I put the WSDDService:addOperation method in on Friday, and you removed it on Sunday. Why ?
It was a valid hook point to add an Operation to a Service and my code has a dependency on it.
I am putting it back.
