I have interest in Axis for my project which is B2B messaging framework.
So I am designing the architecture that Server is SOAP server and client is SOAP client.
1. SOAP client send business documents to server and SOAP Server processes the documents
2. SOAP client receive documents from SOAP server.
The documents are various forms (xml, flat file, edi file, ...)
In case 1. (sending) client simply package documents into SOAP message and send.
But in case2, server can not send documents to client. so client request to server that "Is there any new document for me? "
and if new document arrived, server responses the new document to client by the client's native format (xml, flat file, edi file, ...).
This senario is the same as POP3 protocol.
I know that SOAP message protocol(or JAXM) is that case spec. not SOAP-RPC.
Axis concentrated on SOAP-RPC. So I can not find any resources or documents for SOAP message in Axis.
Axis is only for SOAP-RPC? If not How can I use for Axis for SOAP message.
