Is it possible that the WSRPMarkupRequest complexType contains an attribute named "id" or extends a complexType that contains an attribute named "id" ? Thus the id attribute used for multi-ref is overwritten by the id attribute defined in the xml. I have considered changing WSDL2Java to issue a message if an attribute named "id" or "href" is encountered....and force them to fully qualified when fully qualified attributes are supported...or perhaps turn off multi-ref processing for such beasts... Need more input please.
