Install seems to have some flaws

1. The bin tar version downloads as xml-axis-rc1.bin.tar.gz.tar
2. tar -zxf xml*tar yields many error msgs eg:
    a. Invalid file name @LongLink
    b. Unknow field type value 'L'
3. The bin zip version generates direectories outside of the Axis-1_0 root
   for docs samples and webapps

The files in the .zip are dated Sept 5, 10:42
