It has been fixed. The bug was initially reported for JDK1.3. We fixed it for JDK1.3 but a variant cropped up in JDK1.4. Try the last daily build at http://xml.apache.org/dist/axis/nightly. It should have been fixed by then. Or you can get the latest code from cvs (http://xml.apache.org/axis/cvs.html). Am closing this bug now. Please reopen if necessary. Thanks, dims
