Note that this is really just a beta - we do expect to do some more work in between now and the official 1.1 release, which we expect sometime around the end of the year. It's being released now to give people who want the fixes in the current source an official "marker" release to use while 1.1 is still in the works, and to allow for testing (please do test, yadda yadda).
