Hi Sanjeev, As we discuss I have been mirroring the java architecture in C++ Axis the work has partially completed hence I'm not in a position to commit any changes into the cvs. The main problem is current around the clock work schedule in my job.
If a team is going to form I can give you the work I have done so far. OR I can commit the work that I have done so far -- problem is that the code does not compile if I put those changes in -- hence what I can do is commit the changes but not include them in a build (make). OR I can create a branch and check those in to cvs. Thanks & regards, Lilantha -----Original Message----- From: Sanjiva Weerawarana [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, January 28, 2003 9:00 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Axis C++ binaries The Axis C++ contrib kind of got stuck after the initial contrib. I am currently forming a team that'll drive the Axis C++ work, mostly starting from scratch (and using the previous attempt as a learning exercise) as the current code doesn't mirror the Axis Java architecture etc.. I'm also hoping to try to envision how Axis and WSIF should fit together in an ideal world and then attempt to realize that in the C++ version as we have a great opportunity to do it now. If you're interested in participating that'll be fantastic! I've been setting up an open-source foundation here in Sri Lanka to get people to participate in open-source projects and we're just about ready to go .. down to weeks for sure. The first effort will be to make Axis C++ real. Once we start actively we will organize some IRC chats etc. to try to quickly converge on the overall framework/architecture.
