Hi,
I grepped for WSIF downloads (grepped first for wsif and then for tgz/zip) on the Apache access logs and then ran webalizer (http://www.mrunix.net/webalizer/) on the WSIF download logs. So I have here stats for WSIf distribution downloads, Nov - Jan. It is fairly interesting.
Some highlights:
November: 92 downloads
December: 320 downloads
January: 919 downloads (more than 500 since the release)
If only we can keep us this trend indefinitely...
Note that we had nightly builds available starting in the second week of Nov, then an alpha release in early Dec, our first beta (announced on axis-user) on Dec 11 (notice the spike), an RC1 around Christmas (another spike shortly after), and finally our release yesterday (huge spike).
