In Axis2, one option would be to use Transport Session with HTTP, where
the session is managed using HTTP Cookies.

AFAIK it is possible in Axis2, by configuration the appropriate
connectors in ServletContainer environment you use.

It is your call. But I must tell that there are many cool features of
Axis2
