*Subject:* AXIS2 ERROR: 'org.apache.axis2.transport.http.AxisServlet', is not a known servlet.Servlets belong in the classpath, often in WEB-INF/classes.

Hello everyone,
I am trying embed axis2 on my existing application. All the classes have been created using wsdl2java tool of axis2. i was able to successfully create an .aar file. I am using Resin 3.1.3 for my server and Axis2 v1.4. I dropped the axis2.war at the webapp/ directory of resin. I modified my web.xml to include the below lines of code:
<servlet>
        <servlet-name>AxisServlet</servlet-name>
        <display-name>Apache-Axis Servlet</display-name>
        <servlet-class>
            org.apache.axis2.transport.http.AxisServlet
        </servlet-class>
        <load-on-startup>1</load-on-startup>
    </servlet>

    <servlet-mapping>
   <servlet-name>AxisServlet</servlet-name>
   <url-pattern>/services/*</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>
However, when I tried deploying the application, i got the below error:

[15:48:09.875] WEB-INF/web.xml:80: 'org.apache.axis2.transport.http.AxisServlet' is not a known servlet. Servlets belong in the classpath, often in WEB-INF/classes.

Any idea how to resolve this issue?

thanks,
claire
