Hi Deepak

I remember running this example a while ago. I think I had to fiddle a
little bit to get it working.

Check 3 things:
1) I remember there being a case error or spelling error in one of the
classes
2) make sure the .java files have the package declared at the top of the
file
3) make sure your classpath is valid (sorry, obvious I know but worth
double checking)

Subject: Help needed in running an example

hi all

I am a newcomer to axis. I was trying an example to deploy a java file
as a web service and invoke it. I found one on this site :

http://www.onjava.com/pub/a/onjava/2002/06/05/axis.html?page=2

This has the step by step procedure.

In step 2 while running the command

java org.apache.axis.wsdl.Java2WSDL -o fib.wsdl
-l"http://localhost:8080/axis/services/fibonacci"; -n urn:fibonacci
-p"fibonacci" urn:fibonacci fibonacci.Fibonacci

i get an error which says that

java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: fibonacci.Fibonacci

Can someone please spare some time and help me out in this.

bye
