Hello,
I use Axis 1.2.1. I build and deploy my services with an ant shall and use the ant tasks to deploy the services:
[...]
<taskdef classname="org.apache.axis.tools.ant.axis.AdminClientTask" name="axis-admin">
<classpath refid="axis"/>
</taskdef>
[...]
So far I always deployed the services using localhost as the AxisHost.
For some reasons I 's like to use a 'real' server name in my central and common build script, e.g. myServer.
I need each developer to be capable to physically map this name to an other server.
So my idea was to add myServer to the host-files of the developers.
But this does not work. Obviously the axis ant task resolves the hostname via the DNS-server, which does not allow us to point to different machines...
Is there a way to specify the axishost via host-file, without using DNS??
Thanx in advance
