I'd take the other way round and subclass the generated BindingImpl class with your own. Then you need to change only one line in the BindingSkeleton constructor to use your class instead of the generated one.

Hello!

 

When I generate the server-side skeleton file of my web service using WSDL2Java the generated BindingImpl class contains methods stubs only. I have to paste in methods and attributs from my web service implementation to fill the BindingImpl class with functionalty. I have to redo this everytime I regenerate the server-side skeleton classes since my filled into the BindingImpl gets overwritten.

 

Is there a way round having to paste in attributes and methods into the BindingImpl class every time I regenerate the skeletons using WSDL2Java? At the moment I make the BindingImpl a subclass of my own Impl class and remove all methods from it so that the inherited ones are called. I wonder whether there is a smarter solution than this. Maybe the Axis people have thought of this and provided some hook?
