Use Axis in Tomcat as Server and Client at the same time?

Hi everybody,

I need Axis inside of Tomcat to act as server and client at the same time
(think of some sort of proxy that does some filtering etc before calling
the original service and then passing the answer back to the original 
client).

Where do I need to place the client-config.wsdd to have Axis pick
it up while acting as client? Can I use the classes generated by wsdl2java
for both server and client invokations?
