Umm. Perhaps what Simone means is, "The Java versions
are the ones that don't include 'C++' in the name, so if you click the link
in 'NEWS (October 5, 2005): Axis 1.3 Final is now
available!' on the page you referred to, you'll go to a download page for the
Java version of Axis." Note that you might want to look at Axis2 (http://ws.apache.org/axis2/) as
well.
