Thanks for the tip.  I tried "tcpdump -A -s 0 -i eth0 port 80" under route and it started a capture process.  I then ran my webservice call again and nothing was captured.  What could possibly be blocking it on my client?  I am going to try another linux system and see if it reproduces the error.  My linux client is running a Knoppix LiveCD running off the ramdisk.  I did this temporarily because my Hard Drives were on the fritz and windows wouldn't stay running.  Now I'll try a gentoo system and see what happens.
