I spent quite a bit of time researching then including the Xerces libraries to serialize a MessageElement object into a string because I was unaware of getAsString(). I stumbled upon it while trying to do something else and found that it is in my downloaded JavaDoc for 1.2.1 and 1.3.1. Is there a reason it is not in the online JavaDoc? Is it a method that should be avoided for some reason?
