Phantom not-desired attachments directory created

Hello,

I am using Axis 1.2.1 for some web servies running on Tomcat. I have
noticed a directory is created for attachments.
This is configured in a wsdd file.
¿Is there any way to avoid this? I am not using attachments anyway.
