Group,
I've looked through the mailing lists and across groups to find a solution, but I can't seem to find anything. I think I've resolved my problem to a couple of things, and I was hoping to talk it out in this e-mail and maybe someone could finish the conversation for me.
1) I'm trying to get axis to work outside of the http://localhost:8080/axis folder, and I haven't found that anyone has had success with this. Is this possible? If so, what are the steps required to make this happen?
2) The error message that I'm getting is, "The AXIS engine could not find a target service to invoke! targetService is null" which I've seen lots of documentation for. The general suggestion is to make sure that your URLMapper is working properly, but I think this returns to question 1 where I'm not in the axis folder and therefore it might not be mapping correctly. Is there anyway to hardcode this into the wsdd file? I don't really want to dive into the code and do it, as that's not really an elegant solution.
3) The interesting thing is that everything works under /axis, and the generation of WSDL files fails under a different folder. I know then that I've installed everything properly, but I'm not seeing success in my migration.
Any thoughts on the subject would be greatly appreciated. I'm working on Axis 1.3 on a Windows XP box running Tomcat 5.5.15. Thanks again,
