Hi,
I have been asked what is the state-of-the-art w.r.t. sending attachements (i.e. binaries) with SOAP messages. There are multiple terms around (SAAJ, MTOM, SwA, XOP, etc) and I have not yet figured out how they all relate to the topic and to each other. Scanning the documentation for both Axis and Axis2 revealed that sending attachments should be possible with both tools. Axis comes with two samples (EchoAttachment, TestRef) but the Axis2 docmentation mentions MTOM which sounds like a more standardized way to me. If the question was to just do it I would be happy with Axis, I feel comfortable with. But the point was to provide some sort of expertise. Is there a 'common' way to do this yet ? Is there some 'obvious' point to start with, that I just don't see ? Is it worth exeprimenting with Axis or should I turn to Axis2 ? I'd be pleased for any advise. Thanks, Juliane. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
