MessageContext.getCurrentMessageContext() is returning most likely the
Message_In MessageContext. That holds the HttpServletResponse going
back, all I had to do was change the status code on this class.
Code:
HttpServletResponse resp = (HttpServletResponse)
getCurrentMessageContext()
.getProperty(HTTPConstants.MC_HTTP_SERVLETRESPONSE);
if (resp != null) {
resp.setStatus(status);
}
