here is my client :

from SOAPpy import WSDL
wsdlFile = 'http://localhost:8080/axis2-1.2-SNAPSHOT/services/Echo?wsdl'
server = WSDL.Proxy(wsdlFile)
part1 = 76
print server.echo(part1)

So the problem come from the client, this is a good news ;)
