Hello, I guess you could try to set the logger levels to debug, i.e. log4j.logger.org.apache.axis2.enterprise=DEBUG log4j.logger.de.hunsicker.jalopy.io=INFO log4j.logger.httpclient.wire.header=INFO log4j.logger.org.apache.commons.httpclient=DEBUG
Kind regards, Erwin -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- Van: vpl [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Verzonden: maandag 24 september 2007 16:19 Aan: [email protected] Onderwerp: log4j Axis2 Server not running. please help ...!!!!!!! Struggling with this log4j config ..... for some hours now. Please help .! the log4j.properties is taken into account. I have a LOGFILE created. the axis2 messages are logged into this LOGFILE but none of my own Web-service log4j statements are written to this file ... My web-service creates class of Objects (POJO). For example public class IcProvider{ private static org.apache.log4j.Logger log = Logger.getLogger(IcProvider.class); public IcProvider() { } public User logon(String userVal) { if (userVal.equals("vpl")) { log.debug("user vpl logged"); return new User("vpl"); } else return null; } The code is executed properly (no error) but I can't see any log in the log4j LOGFILE. Certainly a dummy config problem. Please Help .. Here is the log4j.properties I use # Set root category priority to INFO and its only appender to CONSOLE. #log4j.rootCategory=INFO, CONSOLE log4j.rootLogger=DEBUG, CONSOLE, LOGFILE # Set the enterprise logger priority to FATAL log4j.logger.org.apache.axis2.enterprise=INFO log4j.logger.de.hunsicker.jalopy.io=INFO log4j.logger.httpclient.wire.header=INFO log4j.logger.org.apache.commons.httpclient=INFO # CONSOLE is set to be a ConsoleAppender using a PatternLayout. log4j.appender.CONSOLE=org.apache.log4j.ConsoleAppender log4j.appender.CONSOLE.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout log4j.appender.CONSOLE.layout.ConversionPattern=[%p] %m%n # LOGFILE is set to be a File appender using a PatternLayout. log4j.appender.LOGFILE=org.apache.log4j.FileAppender log4j.appender.LOGFILE.File=axis2-vpl.log log4j.appender.LOGFILE.Append=true log4j.appender.LOGFILE.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout log4j.appender.LOGFILE.layout.ConversionPattern=%d [%t] %-5p %c %x - %m%n Thanks for your support -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/log4j-Axis2-Server-not-running.-please-help-...%21%21%21%21%21%21%21-tf4509502.html#a12860904 Sent from the Axis - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
