Hi, Are you getting the text file from the server as a MIME attachment to the SOAP message or are you getting the text content of the file inside to a xml element... Seems like it's the 2nd case when looking at the response message trace you posted.
You won't be able to use the attachment API's to get the file in that case. They work only when there is a MIME attachment to the SOAP message..
