Hi all. Thanks for all the great advice on the forum. We're exercising a web service via Axis 1.4 from Java. The Call has a complex return type. The object type is a business document. Our company is well-suited to deal with the document XML directly, but the java object is not of much use to us (we'd be recoding everything back to XML to use with our XML maps!).
