What is the generic solution if a service becomes unavailable. Since axisfault extends remoteexception i believe catching the same should tell us that service isnt available. In addition to axisfault ... should timeout be implemented so that after several tries ... if the response doesnt come back it means service isnt available.
Service unavaibility can be due to many reasons like server downtime, network latency and so on. -- -- Krishna
