Hi, I think more information can be found in the architecture guide I think.
In case of Apache Tomcat this is: Starting the servlet container: - Windows: net start "Apache Tomcat" - Debian: /etc/init.d/tomcat start Stopping: - Windows: net stop "Apache Tomcat" - Debian: /etc/init.d/tomcat stop If the container runs, you can deploy the services into it. Just deploy a war into the webapps directory and wait to see some magic and it is ready for usage. By default you can put the axis2.war in here as mentioned on the getting-started guide. Your own service can then be deployed in different ways. Checking it from the command line is just a http request imho. So you send it using a tool which can generate that.
