Paul, I tried your suggestion to reuse HTTPClient and it solved my problem! Thank you so much, you saved me! Https connection speed is now close to http after establishing the SSL session, but it's still slower than the .Net client or Jmeter. Is there anything else I can do to improve the performance using http or https?
