Hi David,
You can use logging module as explianed in
http://ws.apache.org/axis2/1_3/modules.html#MyService_with_a_Logging_Module

Thanks.
This looks like it will do what I'm after, it sounds similar to TcpMon with
some logging functionality.

However, if I was able to avoid using another piece of software to act as a
proxy for logging that would be nicer. Is there a way for Axis2 to deliver the
same logging functionality; saving the XML messages sent/received to a
specified log file?

Try using the TcpTrace tool to trace/log SOAP messages. It can be
downloaded for free.

Subject: Logging SOAP messages

Hi,

Out of curiosity, is there a simple way to turn on logging of SOAP
messages in/out of Axis2 web services? Do I have to install a module to
do this, and if so, is there a recommended module?

Thanks
