To unmarshall you will have to use either JAXB or CASTOR or XMLBEANS or JIBX . Basically all these are binding tools and it binds your xml schema with java class.

So you will have to use any data-binding tool for unmarshalling your xml into java class and from there you can retrieve your desired data in respective format.
